As much as I love trying out new looks, what I really love is cultivating a signature style. For me, a huge part of creating a cohesive vibe throughout my wardrobe has been curating a collection of go-to accessories that I seriously wear with so many outfits!
If you’re a regular reader of the blog, you will definitely notice repeat accessories included throughout my posts. This is 100% intentional! One of my main goals is to help you find amazing pieces that you will want to wear over and over again, so I absolutely love sharing the pieces that are staples in my own wardrobe.
That’s why I’m so excited to share some of my most worn accessories with you. For the majority of the items, I’ve linked the exact products that I use. However, I’ve had some of my go-to accessories for so many years that the exact versions that I have aren’t available anymore. For cases like that, I’ve scoured the internet to find similar versions that I would purchase if I ever had to replace my old faves!
Accessories complete any look, and finding your go-to pieces will help you look and feel effortlessly put together every single day.
This post will help you curate a collection of chic, versatile accessories fit for everyday plans!

Must-Have Shoes
Shop The Look: Loafers, Booties, Sneakers
I love a chic shoe… but it has to be wearable. I absolutely adore these cream loafers from Naturalizer—they have quickly become one of my most worn shoes for work. Often, loafers can be thick and chunky whereas I prefer styles that feel more streamlined and elegant. These loafers are feminine, versatile, and so comfortable. While I probably don’t need to, I do typically wear them with no-show socks, and I’ve never gotten a blister from them once. That’s why I’ve gone on to purchase more loafers from Naturalizer in other styles and colors too. They seriously have so many great options that are perfect for any work wardrobe or for wearing in your everyday life!
Where I live, 7 or 8 months out of the year are cooler temperatures (if not downright freezing). So when it comes to going out shoes, black booties are a must. Specifically, my go-to pair of booties are a block-heel, square-toe, black leather pair that I purchased on a whim from Mango back in 2019 or so. They are the perfect height where they make me feel strong and confident while still being pretty comfortable to wear for a night out. Unfortunately, Mango only sold the pair that I have for one season, but this pair that I’ve linked from Sam Edelman are gorgeous. They look very similar to the pair that I have (honestly, they look nicer!) and have great reviews.
Without a doubt, my Veja V-12 white leather sneakers are my most worn shoes in my entire wardrobe. I wear them with everything—with jeans, trousers, shorts, dresses, sweats… literally everything. They are so flattering and so unbelievably comfortable. I’ve worn these on Europe vacations where I walked upwards of 10,000 steps a day always with no issue. Despite how comfortable they are, the beautiful white leather and minimalist design make them so chic and sophisticated too. I am such a sucker for a neutral beige, so the Dune shade is the perfect accent color for me, but they have so many different colors to choose from if you prefer a different color palette!
Must-Have Finishing Touches
Shop The Look: Studs, Sunglasses, Huggie Hoops
I got my ears pierced with my best friend when we graduated from elementary school, and I always remember her mom saying, “there’s something about wearing earrings, they always make you feel a little bit fancy!” That always stuck with me, and I think it’s so true. Earrings are the perfect finishing touch to top off any outfit. I treated myself to these lab-grown diamond studs from Vrai earlier this year, and I never take them off. They are the perfect size (dainty without being too tiny), come in both yellow gold and white gold finishes, and are so comfortable. I sleep in them, shower in them, work out in them… seriously, I never take them off. And just like my best friend’s mom said, even if I’m just having a lazy day at home, I always feel a little bit more put together when I’ve got a touch of delicate sparkle on my ears.
A go-to pair of sunglasses is a must. They’re a stylish way to finish off any look, and they’re also totally practical and help to keep your eyes safe from the sun! There are obviously so many different styles of sunglasses, and I think it’s important to try out different styles to figure out what suits you best. I love to experiment with different styles, but, when it comes down to it, aviators will always be what I feel most comfortable and most “me” in. My most worn aviators are a pair that I got over 10 years ago from Fossil, and I still adore them to this day! They are super similar to this pair from Madewell. Just like the Madewell ones, they’ve got dark lenses, gold frames, and tortoise shell detailing on the back bits behind your ears!
Now if I am going to take off my Vrai studs, 9 times out of 10 it’s to swap them out for these chunky huggie hoops from Mejuri. These ones come in gold or silver tones too. When I’m going out, attending a wedding, doing a slicked ponytail look, or am just craving something a bit bolder, these earrings are my go-tos. I love the look of bold chunky earrings when other people wear them, but my ears just cannot take super heavy earrings. To me, these earrings give the same feel as a chunkier, bold earring, but they are way lighter weight than a lot of other options out there. That being said, I do not sleep, shower, or work out in these ones… I save these for when I’m out and about!
Must-Have Handbags
Shop The Look: Nylon Black Bag, Black Leather Shoulder Bag, Off-White Bag
Listen, I know all the girlies are obsessed with the Lululemon fanny packs and I’m sure they are great… but do not sleep on the Uniqlo nylon crossbody bags! They are seriously perfection and hands down my most worn bags. They fit so much, and their minimalist design makes them so versatile and surprisingly chic in my opinion. I have one in black and one in white and wear them nonstop. Plus, they are so easy to fold up and pack with you for travel as well.
While my Uniqlo bags get me through almost any scenario, of course sometimes I want a bag that feels more dressed up, and I am absolutely obsessed with this black leather baguette-style shoulder bag from Verafied New York. The leather is beautiful and has a slight texture that makes it feel less prone to scratches, plus the gold hardware dresses the entire bag up. The sleek, minimalist design gives me 90’s model off duty vibes which I love, and I find this bag so versatile and easy to pair with so many looks. This bag also has some practical features that make it so wearable. While it is a thin bag, it has about two inches of width which makes such a huge difference compared to other smaller bags. I can easily fit my phone, wallet, a few bits of makeup, and anything else I might need for a night out. And finally, it zips shut. Listen, that might not sound like much but I love a zipper closure. It makes me feel so much more secure when I’m out and about, and I don’t have to think twice about anything accidentally falling out of my bag!
Must-Have Cosmetics
Shop The Look: Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt, Lisa Eldridge Lip Gloss – Muse, Moroccanoil L’Originale Eau De Parfum
Hear me out. I get that cosmetics aren’t exactly accessories, but, to me, a look is everything. Of course it’s the outfit, but it’s also the hair, the makeup, and the scent.
I’m definitely a natural makeup girl, and if I’m totally honest… my most worn lip product is plain old Carmex from the drugstore. But when I’m at a chic bar sipping a dirty martini and feeling like a fabulous, classy lady, whipping out my bright yellow stick of Carmex just is not the vibe. For me, Lisa Eldridge’s Gloss Embrace Lip Gloss in the shade Muse is my perfect my lips but better shade. The texture is glossy with zero stickiness, and the finish is so flattering. There are so many shades to choose from, it’s such an easy product that I can throw on without looking in a mirror, and the packaging is sleek and sophisticated.
When it comes to scents, Jo Malone’s Wood Sage & Sea Salt is hands down my signature scent. I am obsessed with it! It’s fresh, crisp, and neutral—I wear it just about every single day and never get sick of it. But as much as I love the Jo Malone scent and truly find it so versatile, sometimes I find myself craving something with a little more warmth and depth. I was on the hunt for months and finally came across Moroccanoil’s L’Originale earlier this year and it is perfect. It’s warm, rich, and a little spicy all without being overpowering. It’s the perfect sultry touch to complete a look for a night out.
